Oil Change

We use new oil, which is very important on an oil change.

Oil Changes

Your vehicle's engine has hundreds of moving parts in it. These parts cause friction when they rub against each other and the friction, in turn, causes massive amounts of heat in your engine. To protect against all of this friction and heat, we introduce lubricating oil into the engine. The oil has two jobs in the engine. One is to reduce the amount of friction by putting a layer of oil between the moving parts and the other is to help cool the parts of the engine as it circulates through.

If there were no oil in your engine, the moving parts would create so much heat that they would eventually melt together causing the engine to lock up. Once those engine parts melt together, there is no getting them apart. So we can all agree that the oil in your engine is pretty important. But why change the oil? Isn't the oil that came with the vehicle good enough? The answer is no, and here is why...

Over time, oil breaks down. There are many factors that contribute to the breakdown of the oil in your engine, but heat is the biggest contributing factor. In addition to the breakdown of the oil itself, there are also additives that are put in engine oil. These begin to break down and lose their effectiveness over time. There is also the issue of contamination. Small bits of dust, dirt and debris get into your engine and make their way into the oil. All these little bits of "stuff" make the oil much less slippery and much less effective at cushioning the moving parts of the engine.

Diagnostic

Diagnostic is free up to 30 minutes. Anything over that will require customer consent before proceeding.

CV Axles

A CV axle is made up of 2 CV joints. The axle transmits torque from the engine and transmission to drive the vehicle's wheels. Constant velocity joints, or CV joints are universal joints that are able to transfer torque at large angles efficiently. These CV joints transfer power very smoothly. They are comprised of four basic parts:

  1. The outer section, which has grooves machined on its inner surface
  2. The bearings, which are usually in a "cage"
  3. The inner ball, which has grooves on its outer surface for the bearings to ride in
  4. A rubber boot to protect the unit from dirt and moisture.

What Will Steering and Suspension System Services Cost? A common cause of CV joint failure is cracks in the CV boot. When the boot is cracked, it allows dirt and grit to mix with the grease and wear down the parts of the joint. A clicking noise heard when turning is the most common symptom of CV joint problems. The CV boots should be replaced as soon as cracking is visible in their rubber folds. Important Note: Never open a boot to inspect the CV joint. The boots are airtight and if opened, the CV joint will require servicing.

Brakes

When the brake pedal of a modern vehicle with hydraulic brakes is pushed, ultimately a piston pushes the brake pad against the brake disc which slows the wheel down. On the brake drum it is similar as the cylinder pushes the brake shoes against the drum which also slows the wheel down. very conmonly as the brake pad is replaced its also advisable to replace the rotor eliminating the posibilty for cristalization that occurs during the surface friction. we offer the best brake pads on the market solving all those squeeking problems cause by cristalization.

Transmissions

If your vehicle shifting is not right, stop by at one of our locations for a free computarized diagnostic before it's too late. Some transmission related issues could be addressed without removing the transmission, saving money by about one half of the cost of a total rebuild. If your vehicle's problem is transmission related, we will provide you with a few different options from a used one or rebuilt one to fit your budget. Change your transmission fluid and filter regularly. Transmission service generally means replacing the hydraulic fluid and filter whereas a transmission flush is commonly used for extracting the fluid with a machine and putting a new one in without replacing the filter. Transmission service is a more complete job.

Tune Ups

Keeping your vehicle at top performance will save you more money than what you can spend on keeping it up. Therefore, tune your vehicle up as recommended by the manufacturer; or every twelve thousand miles on older vehicles. Wrecker expenses, gas consumption, other component failures, and state inspection failures are among the costly concequences of lack of maintanence. Our complete tune ups are very cost effective and performed at the highest level of service.
